O presidente da Federação Gaúcha de Futebol, Francisco Novelletto, deve confirmar nesta segunda-feira ao pedido do Guarany de participar da Copa Lacy Ughini, que será disputada neste segundo semestre de 2011.
A solicitação foi feita pelo presidente Pedro Martins "Sabella", terá carta verde e, assim como em 2006/07/10 os alvirrubros participarão do torneio que dá uma vaga para a Copa BR e outra para a Série D do campeonato Brasileiro.
Provavelmente será uma chave regionalizada, com times da zona do sul do estado. Maiores informações em breve.
